Quality has a cost. Whilst the cost of production has to be matched by the market price, quality must come first. What matters most at Poujeaux is the production of prenium wines.

The majority of the production is bought by the Trade in Bordeaux, specialized in premium wines. Château Poujeaux is thus marketed abroad, in particular in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Great Britain, the USA and Asia. Château Poujeaux also benefits from a considerable number of faithful private connoisseurs, who have for years been the ambassadors of the quality of Poujeaux.
